At
the age of three (1974), Steve arrived in the United States with the Korean
name Kim Yong Sa (“Brave Soldier”) when he was adopted into
a loving family in the south suburbs of Chicago. The Army paid for his B.S.
from Eastern Illinois University (1993) and his MHA from Baylor University
(2004). Steve and his bride, Nancy, have been married since 1997 and have
three beautiful children under the age of four: two daughters
– Kayla & Kelsie and one son – Samuel. Steve is currently
the Chief, Resource Management Division for U.S. Army Dental Command
in San Antonio, TX.
